Corpus Domini 2026

Durante il Corpus Domini, le strade di molte città e paesi italiani ,così come a Monterosso al Mare, vengono coperte da tappeti floreali che rappresentano motivi religiosi, simbolici e ornamentali. Questi tappeti sono creati con petali di fiori, foglie, semi e altri materiali naturali reperibili in loco.

La realizzazione richiede una grande preparazione e coordinazione tra tutti i partecipanti che devono quindi essere numerosi e volenterosi.

L’infiorata unisce arte, fede e comunità in quanto non è solo una manifestazione artistica e religiosa, ma anche un momento per stare assieme e collaborare. Le persone di tutte le età partecipano alla creazione dei tappeti floreali, unendo le forze per celebrare la loro fede e tramandare il loro patrimonio culturale, le proprie tradizioni storiche.

A fine giornata, il passaggio della processione del Santissimo Sacramento sancisce la fine di questa festa floreale.

During Corpus Christi, the streets of many Italian towns and villages, as well as in Monterosso al Mare, are covered with floral rugs representing religious, symbolic and ornamental motifs. These rugs are created with petals of flowers, leaves, seeds and other natural materials available on site.
